| Greenhouse tomato grower, Barry Bradley of Coudersport, Potter County,
is using the latest technology from Penn State's Center for Plasticulture
to diversify his tomato operation. His vegetable operation consists
of a large greenhouse with both cooling and heating elements to maintain
the proper environmental conditions for maximum growth. The investment
in this operation is large becaue of the monitoring equipment for
the environmental controls and fertilizer program. Barry was interested
in growing another crop to complement his tomato operation but wanted
to avoid the high cost of another greenhouse. He hopes that this new
technology will allow him to produce additinal material for his local
